Love the photos! I have always wanted to the outerbanks. It is on my to see list. I am sad about the horses not being free. I has dreamed of seeing them. I guess it is better for them.
On the Northern end of the Outer Banks, there are still wild horses that roam freely. It is an area of Corolla that is only accessible by 4WD vehicles.
Your photos are incredibly beautiful, there are so many favorites to be found here! I sat mesmerized by the sounds of the ocean and the rolling waves...
