After many months of looking and hoping to find a family dog, we have adopted our pup. Sydney is our sweet girl, 12 weeks old now. She came from a pet rescue in Tennessee, after wandering alone and getting hit by a car when she was 8 weeks old. Fortunately, she was taken to a vet and suffered only bruises in the incident. A month later, she was brought to the rescue to find her permanent home. The vet said that she has Golden Retriever and Collie in her, which were the two breeds that we were considering most. It seems that my patience has paid off! She is a a good listener, and is taking well to training. She loves to play and still needs lots of naps.
Today, we spend the afternoon playing at the parkwith friends. It has been such a treat to have mild weather.
Sydney, you are just the puppy that we have been waiting for!

Sydney is beautiful. I'm so happy she finally found her way home. She looks like a perfect fit. Thank you for rescuing her. Our pup Kelly was a resuce, we got her when she was 5 yrs old. Enjoy!
What a lovely puppy!
We just adopted a puppy from the pound in June. She is a boxer/pit/german pointer mix. At 10 months old, omg is she naughty sometimes. But I adore her.
I wish Sydney many happy years with your family.
Oh my God! I have puppy envy!
She is such a cute, lovely, beautiful doggy. Congratulations. I wish you very much joy with her. I am happy that she has a loving home now after her first dark weeks.
Love.

Darn you! I'm feeling such acute puppy lust right now!
It's been almost 2 years since our Golden passed away at the ripe old age of 17 and I think of him often.
Sydney will be loved, I can see that in your pictures & words.
Enjoy!
